You know what they say…being almost 10,000 miles apart makes the heart grow fonder. Wait, is that not how it goes? Regardless, that’s how it played out for Alexandra and Ryan, who met just a few months before she jetted from the Southeast to Sydney, Australia, for a nine-month volunteer program. Halfway through her service, Alexandra returned to the States for a visit, and she Ryan became an official couple; a year later they were engaged. Fast forward to their wedding, and the pair joined family and friends for a ceremony at the Medical University of South Carolina’s St. Luke’s Chapel before hosting a party at The Cedar Room.
