JOINED WITH LOVE

In light of marriage licenses for you same sex lovebirds in SC, we thought we’d share one lovely couples’ intimate celebration with family and friends. Today the first couple said ‘I Do’ in front of the Charleston Courthouse during the temporary stay, so I want to celebrate one special ceremony I loved from last year. Just like all weddings, two people were madly in love, tears of joy were shed, and the moments were beautiful.

Ryan and Royce made it official in DC but chose Charleston to have everyone share in their day. Now they get to delight in the fact that they can be legal here, too!

They are two of my favorite people in the whole world, and to see them celebrate their love was simply wonderful.

To keep the celebration fun for all, guests were assigned to beach houses for their stay and Saturday itself was nothing short of a blast. I’ve only shared a few shots of their sweet moments, but trust me, a good time was had by all.

With a morning ceremony at Folly on the lawn, followed by beach olympics complete with team shirts and then a good throw down for the evening and some creative superlative awards for the weekend, the memories and their love will last a lifetime.
