It’s true what they say- less is more. At least, in Maggie and Ben’s case. They opted to keep things clean and simple. But boy, was it charming. The lemon centerpieces combined with the rustic farm tables gave one that sweet and simple country feel. It felt like grandma was about to enter the scene with a plate of freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. Alhambra’s wood beams and plenty of natural light definitely aided in this bright, refreshing theme.
Maggie’s dress was sheer perfection. She went with a stunning sheath dress with a soft lace overlay. The off-the-shoulder look was gorgeous on her. She couldn’t have chosen a more perfect dress to compliment the theme.
But the real piece that made this day extra special was, without a doubt, the couple. Ya’ll, this couple. Their passion for each other was palpable. They were like little kids together, with all their zeal and excitement. It was such a pleasure watching their plans for this big day play out.
Speaking of grandma’s chocolate chip cookies, can we talk about these sweet treats from Whole Foods for a minute? They can be grandma in our story. Do you see these mini pecan pies? MINI PECAN PIES. That’s all.
And what kind of country wedding would this be without sweet tea and lemonade?
Sweet Maggie, cheery Ben- we hope your day was as lovely as it was for Yoj.
