Stacie and Andy envisioned a wedding with “southern charm.” They ventured from their hometown of Charlotte, NC to have their big day at the perfect destination for a southern wedding. Their ceremony took place at the beautiful Boone Hall Plantation, where Stacie would walk down the path where many a lover walked, to her awaiting groom where they would exchange their promises of forever in front of grandiose iron gates. The towering oaks made for a picture-perfect backdrop.

Stacie’s idea of southern charm was charmingly southern! Her bouquet of white hydrangea and veronica with pops of pink peonies, ranunculus’s, and blush spray roses was perfectly elegant. This arrangement could also be found on the open doors where a full wreath would hang on either door, greeting each guest as they entered the celebration room. Metallic gold ribbons and votives accented the graceful flower theme. On the wooden beams hung candle-lit lanterns of different sizes. It was a terribly romantic scene.

In the front of the Cotton Dock, guests found corn hole and classy wedding pong in the cutest pink cups, of course. When they stepped out to the seating area out back they were greeted by the most alluring scene. First, long tables lined with flowers, candles, and mini lanterns entered the scene. They ventured out a little further to the deck and to see rocking chairs looking out at the marsh waters. It was a particularly dreamy scene at sunset, as one could imagine.

This couple was SO much fun! I can’t help but smile and giggle as I scroll through the moments Red Apple Tree Photography captured. I wish I could post the whole album here! Stacie is so breathtakingly beautiful. That’s all I could think as I scrolled through some head shots. And Andy is absolutely hilarious. For example, the mother-in-law dance song was Stacy’s Mom by Fountains of Wayne. If you haven’t heard this song Google it RIGHT NOW. And then imagine Andy dancing to this tune with his newly acquired mother-in-law. So funny. The whole wedding party was a blast and sure know how to have a good time!

This was truly a fun, memorable, and special day for all involved. It was charmingly southern and I am most confident that Stacie and Andy’s wedding panned out just as they imagined- if not better. Cheers, you two!
