IT'S A BEAUTIFUL DAY...

…for a wedding in May!

Natalie and Tim tied the knot on a sunny day in May, which they shared with Mother’s Day- but not without recognition. I’ll tell you about that in a minute!

These two love birds and their closest friends and family joined us all the way from California, so we had to make sure they were all given the best Southern wedding welcome!

Y’all just need to take a seat for this one. Clay Austin captured the most stunning shots! And don’t forget to check out Life in Rewind’s video of these beautiful scenes in motion- I’ll include the video at the end!

The reception tent housed more of a clean garden feel, while the outside cocktail hour gave a rustic vintage flair. Each vignette was very thought out and very well done. Vintage pieces – such as strategically placed luggage, or a type writer, or even an old, worn book- accented seating areas and tables.

Next to the seating chart, the thoughtful couple gifted a sweet token to the mothers in attendance: local Charleston honey! The men weren’t left out either, as they could mosey on over to the scotch and cigar lounge to treat themselves while they waited on the newlyweds to arrive.

After their arrival, the bride and groom danced their first as Husband and Wife, followed by a sweet, tender dance between Natalie and her father. These two men just radiated with adoration and pride for this beautiful woman they cherished so much.

Natalie’s favorite part of wedding planning is selecting florals! Her visions, coupled with Branch and Nancy’s talent, produced a garden of stunning displays.

The head table was lined with greenery while above hang a picture-perfect centerpiece of florals and a banner scripted with the words “It Was Always You.” On mahogany farm tables sat beautiful gold rimmed dinner wear, as one delicate flower sat upon each plate. And accompanying those gold rims were mercury gold votives and enchanting floral arrangements.

YoungSol All-Stars had everyone in the house hoppin’ with their energetic set! Tim and Natalie even crowd surfed, as you can see from the video! The crowd refueled on Cru’s delicious late night snacks, and sipped on adult Kahlua milkshakes, to boot!

After the dance party and a sparkler send-off, the happy couple stole away in Lowcountry Valet’s 1950 Chevrolet Styleline Deluxe and the guests boarded Absolutely Charleston’s old city bus and trolleys to their home away from home.

Tim and Natalie’s idea of aesthetic appeal was spot on! I’m confident these west-coasters enjoyed their experience in the good ol’ south.

Y’all come back now, ya hear?

xo, Gina
