A STYLIST SOIREE

From the moment she walked in the door we instantly we fell in love with Kassi. As a stylist for Trunk Club in Charleston, this sweet and sassy bride-to-be had a clear vision for the day she would be marrying the man of her dreams. The pair did not have to search long for a venue, one of our fave Charleston Plantations, Runnymede, instantly captured their hearts!

The day was filled with the purest form of celebration. As the vintage bus pulled into the field screams of excitement and cheer were heard from wedding guests awaiting the special evening ahead of them. The majority of guests traveled from Washington State were not only overwhelmed by the beauty of the low country plantation but the southern hospitality of the sweet tea and fresh squeezed lemonade to refresh them during the ceremony.

After the sweet ceremony, guests were ushered to the cocktail hour hosted among the brick ruins. One element that sets this low country plantation apart is the brick ruins of the mansion that previously burned down. The ruins created a romanic backdrop among the mossy oaks and the Ashley River.

The day was beautiful but unfortunately a huge storm was headed for Charleston later in the evening. Changes were made to the original event plans and dinner would now be held under the tent that Runnymede offers onsite. The design crew came together and the tent was breathtaking. Stephanie Gibbs knocked this one out of the park with the multicolor blooms, lush greenery and garden style inspired touches.

And of course we have to gush about the delicious dinner prepared by Salthouse, consisting of barbecue sliders, fresh garden salad, Southern sides, and shrimp and grits! ABCD cakes was responsible for the most scrumptious dessert table. The naked wedding cake was accompanied by mini pies, brownies, and macaroons!

How fun is this picture captured of the Bridesmaids? The Bridesmaids wore ivory cocktail dresses each donning a different chic style. Ooh Events provided the Lounge where the Mother of the Groom and Flower Girl took a quick break from the jamming dance floor. DJ Steven Darby entertained the guests with a mix of beats from today's hits to the classics everybody knows and loves. This Washington State crowd danced the night away and couldn't hear the roaring storm above!

Ryan & Kassi's pup, Beau, was a special part of the ceremony. How dapper is he in his navy bowtie! If only it could be a must that an adorable puppy must be involved in all weddings! We enjoyed every bit of the planning for this sweet couple and special day was absolutely perfect! Wishing you both a life time of happiness!
