One of the most exciting aspects of being an Event Planner is having the opportunity to view new, upcoming spaces around Charleston that are multipurpose and can easily be transitioned into a venue. After all, the Holy City does love to host a good party! Last month we visited the Miller Gallery, a new contemporary gallery located on East Bay Street, and had the opportunity to transform the space into an intimate evening of inventive cocktails, tasty hors d'oeuvres, and a musical combination of contemporary hits with the classical sound of the violin.
When we walked into the gallery we were instantly greeted with vibrant, fresh, and unique works of artwork. It is the perfect setting for a multitude of events ranging from an intimate rehearsal dinner to a corporate gathering.
Take a peak of some of the lovely images Alex Klaes captured from our colorful evening!
We had the most fun collaborating with such a creative team! The rentals were provided by Event Works, the most gorgeous floral arrangements by Framptons, and awesome decor items (napkin rings, pillows, oyster candles, and speciality wine glasses.. we are obsessed!!) by Coastalkedler.
Hamby Events did not disappoint with their taste of summer hors d'oeuvres! Pure Fluff added a fun, nostalgic flair to the cocktails by topping the champagne with cotton candy garnished with fresh lavender. Now, we all know you cannot host a gathering without some good tunes. Seth G joined us for the evening playing several of his most popular covers.
If you haven't already, check out the Miller Gallery on Easy Bay next time you are in the area! You never know where you will next be inspired.
