LOVE DURING THE HOLIDAYS

While everyone was busy celebrating holidays of their own this past December, we had the honor of celebrating our sweet couple Kristen + John! Kristen's older sister, Aly, is one of our past YOJ brides and we are so thankful Kristen loved us enough to choose us to plan her wedding as well! Kristen's unique style was perfect for the season- with rich jewel tones, lots of gold + and candle light.

With their ceremony at the Summerall Chapel and the reception at Alhambra Hall, she had personal mementos from her family with her every step of the way. The Summerall Chapel is even more beautiful during the holidays with all of it's decorations, and that made it even easier for us to create a stunning back drop for these two to say "I Do".

Stephanie Gibbs Events perfectly delivered Kristen and John's floral vision with unique boutonnieres, succulent cocktail table centerpieces, greenery chandeliers, the prettiest crowns for the flower girls (just wait until you see them.. the girls and the crowns!), and gorgeous bouquets for Kristen and her best girls.

Shannon Oleksak Photography and Ash + Co hair and make-up made sure Kristen felt as radiant and stunning as ever for her big day. Sealed with a kiss and a sword arch, the two love birds and their guests headed to Alhambra Hall for their beautiful reception overlooking the water.

The newly wedded Mr. and Mrs. Overcash could not stay off of the dance floor, and we don't blame them with moves like theirs! Eddie from Other Brother Entertainment kept everyone singing and dancing along to all of their favorite songs. The joy in this room could not be contained!

We are so sad that there are no more Speir sisters for us to plan weddings for, but are elated that Aly and Kristen found their soulmates! Kristen and John, watching you two throughout your big day gave us all the feels. Your love for one another was so apparent and contagious, and we wish the best of the best for you two!
