Monique Semper, originally of Semper Signature Events, draws from over 25 years in the Charleston hospitality and event planning industry to create gorgeous weddings and memorable events. In her off-time, Monique enjoys cheering on her son at soccer games and attending her daughter’s violin concerts. The dining scene in Charleston perfectly complements her love of well-prepared food, and an occasional concert tops the list for a fun night out!
Born to European parents, Monique’s industry experience extends even deeper than owning her own planning firm. From previously running The Trawler restaurant on Shem Creek with her father, Horst Semper, to serving as Special Events Manager for the Greater Charleston Restaurant Association, Monique takes great pride in creating personalized events, and has always maintained the ultimate goal of executing the client’s vision and making their wedding day as seamless and enjoyable as possible. As one of Yoj’s dedicated planners, Jessica’s industry experience and attention to detail allow her to create gorgeous, personalized events tailored to each client's individual needs. Originally from Connecticut, Jessica moved to Charleston to attend the College of Charleston and immediately fell in love with the city’s charm and beauty. When she’s not busy bringing a couple’s vision from a piece of paper, to a full scale wedding of their dreams, Jessica enjoys going on walks with her pup Winnie, exploring Charleston’s coveted restaurant scene, and grabbing a cocktail with friends.
